Remote Higher Education due to health emergency: digital skills and educational motivation in psychology students - Lima, 2022

Introduction: ICT has transformed education, with the 2020 pandemic serving as a crucial catalyst that accelerated its global adoption, intensifying its impact on the educational experience.
Development: Educators must possess digital competencies, including the management of virtual classrooms and online tools, to ensure academic performance and effective student preparation for the job market, prioritizing intrinsic motivation in the educational process.
Methodology: This study focuses on the interaction between digital competencies and educational motivation in psychology students at a university in Lima Metropolitana during the year 2022, aiming to advance the theoretical understanding of this convergence and its impact on the educational dynamics.
Conclusions: The research results show a statistically significant correlation (p < 0.05) between digital competencies and educational motivation, supporting the alternative hypothesis and rejecting the null hypothesis.
