Introduction: The political communication that is generated around federal public policies in Mexico and its relationship with public opinion go hand in hand. Coexistence with technology and sociodigital networks.
Objective: Analyze the reactions for and against the 2022 educational reform through Twitter.
Methodology: It consisted of a quantitative approach under a Social Network Analysis of 1981 Twitter comments to know the opinions for and against the 2022 educational reform analyzed with descriptive statistics.
Results: The statistical analyzes showed a generalized negative feeling in the population with 84.31% of tweets about the topic during the months since the Ministry of Public Education announced the elimination of school grades. The intensity of the digital conversation occurred when the news was announced and another peak of activity occurred when the note of the suspension of the educational reform was spread.
Conclusion: The political discourse of the State is surpassed by the mass media, citizen participation and interest groups, which is why the reforms promoted are unable to advance due to confrontation, which leads to a polarization that has accentuated social networks.
