Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a software tool that allows companies to manage their business processes effectively and efficiently. Due to its relevance in the field, the study's objective is to propose schemes or processes for an optimal and efficient implementation of an ERP system. For its resolution, a literature review is carried out, with which process flows are established for: implementation planning, supplier selection, software configuration and customization, personnel training and coaching, and change and resistance management. Through these approaches it is concluded that an optimal and efficient implementation of an ERP system is fundamental for long-term business success, however, it is important to note that the implementation of an ERP system is not a magic solution for all the problems of a company. An ERP system can be a valuable tool for improving the efficiency and visibility of business operations, but its success depends on a combination of factors
