Abstract

This study analyzes the use of ICT in the 3rd year BGU of the San Isidro Educational Unit, especially in the subject of Social Sciences, considering this institution within the rural panorama that a countless number of rural institutions in our country are debating. Furthermore, the role and perception that students have in their environment with their peers, friends, classmates, their way of feeling and creating through technological support and that of their teachers, who they yearn for, should get more involved with technology and communication in the teaching-learning process, the use of digital tools and resources in their immediate advances. Channeling the change from a traditional education to which they are adapted and see it as normal or efficient and generate in this promotion a radical change towards the development of a technological, virtual education without losing humanism among educators and students. For all this, transformative changes need to be made in education, especially in rurality, in the mindset of teachers and students, the community, with the determined support of internal and external authorities. It is for this reason that our study was focused on 20 students who are in their last year of secondary education, who are between the ages of 16, 17 and 18 and who yearn for new challenges and goals in their life and in the generations that precede them. Yearn for students capable of interpreting their task, who have generously supported this consultation process and who became involved in the survey, with the questions from the questionnaire as an investigative instrument, to make known their academic and experiential feeling, which has provided us with technical and real data to diagnose and analyze and determine proposals on the subject of the classroom and the educational institution.
