Economic and Social Phenomena Caused by Airbnb in Tourism: A Literature Review.

The objective of this article is to analyze the processes of economic and social transformation that the Airbnb platform has caused. The methodology follows a bibliographic review approach of the last 10 years to understand the phenomena caused by renting a room for short periods through Airbnb. Among the findings are economic and social phenomena that have transformed people's culture in the digital era, such as Digital Nomadism, Gentrification and social and economic changes.
